Mohinī’s Speech
Mohinyāḥ Bhāṣaṇam
विड्भोज्या हि भविष्यामि पक्षिणामामिषं यथा । यो भार्यां यौवनोपेतां न सेवेदिह दुर्मतिः ॥ ५० ॥
viḍbhojyā hi bhaviṣyāmi pakṣiṇāmāmiṣaṃ yathā | yo bhāryāṃ yauvanopetāṃ na sevediha durmatiḥ || 50 ||
నేను దుర్మతితో ఇక్కడ యౌవనవతియైన భార్యను సేవించి సుఖించకపోతే, పక్షులకు మాంసంలా మలభోజ్యమైపోతాను.
Narrator within the Narada Purana dialogue tradition (instructional voice attributed to the Narada–Sanatkumara discourse stream)

It stresses accountability in household life: neglect of one’s lawful marital responsibility is portrayed as self-degrading, implying that dharma in the gṛhastha stage must be upheld rather than rejected through negligence.
Indirectly, it frames bhakti as lived discipline: devotion is not only temple practice but also righteous conduct in one’s āśrama; honoring dharma in family life supports purity and steadiness needed for Vishnu-bhakti.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught in this verse; it functions as nīti/dharma counsel for gṛhasthas rather than a technical ritual or linguistic rule.
