माता तस्य परामार्तिः कुष्ठरोगादिपीडिता ।

जगाम स पिता चास्य चिन्तयामास दुःखितः ॥

mātā tasya parāmārtiḥ kuṣṭha-rogādi-pīḍitā | jagāma sa pitā cāsya cintayāmāsa duḥkhitaḥ ||

అతని తల్లి కుష్ఠు మొదలైన వ్యాధులతో బాధపడుతూ పరమ దుఃఖంలో పడింది; అతని తండ్రి కూడా వ్యాకులుడై చింతల్లో మునిగిపోయాడు।
