Adhyaya 74 — King Svarashtra, the Deer-Queen’s Curse, and the Rise of Tamasa Manu

ततस्तं सुषुवे पुत्रं सा मृगी लक्षणान्वितम् ।

तस्मिन् जाते च भूतानि सर्वाणि प्रययुर्मुदम् ॥

Transliteration

tatas taṃ suṣuve putraṃ sā mṛgī lakṣaṇānvitam / tasmin jāte ca bhūtāni sarvāṇi prayayur mudam

Translation

అప్పుడు ఆ హరిణి శుభలక్షణసంపన్నుడైన కుమారుని ప్రసవించింది; అతడు జన్మించగానే సమస్త ప్రాణులు ఆనందంతో ఉల్లసించారు।
