किन्त्वेषा मे सखी सा च मत्कृते दुःखपीडिते ।

अतो नाभिलषे भोगान् भोक्तुमेतेन वै समम् ॥

కానీ ఆమె నా సఖి; నా కారణంగా ఆమె శోకంతో బాధపడుతోంది. అందువల్ల ఆమె దుఃఖంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు, నేను అతనితో (భర్తగా) కలిసి భోగసుఖాలను అనుభవించదలచుకోను।
