The Purana encodes moral-cosmic hierarchy through geography: certain regions are portrayed as inherently luminous, suggesting that virtue and proximity to the divine order manifest as radiance and refinement.
Cosmographic description supports sarga/pratisarga-style ordering of the world (how the created world is arranged and differentiated), even when not narrating creation events directly.
“Silver-like” radiance can be read as a lunar/sattvic symbolism—cool, pure brilliance—indicating a realm dominated by harmony rather than passion or decay.
