Adhyaya 40 — Creation of the World
योजनानां सहस्रेभ्यः श्रावणः सोऽभिधीयते । ममन्ताद्वीक्षते चाष्टौ स यदा देवतोपमः ॥
yojanānāṃ sahasrebhyaḥ śrāvaṇaḥ so 'bhidhīyate | mamantād vīkṣate cāṣṭau sa yadā devatopamaḥ ||
వెయ్యి యోజనాల దూరం నుండీ వినగలిగినప్పుడు అతడిని ‘శ్రావణం’ అంటారు; మరియు అంగుళి కొన నుండే చూసినట్లు అష్టదిక్కులను దర్శించినప్పుడు అతడు దేవతుల్యుడవుతాడు।
