YogaPrāṇa regulation (preparatory)Āsana discipline

FAQs

The text emphasizes non-agitation: avoid bodily pressure points and tension (even in the jaw), cultivating a calm vessel for concentration.

Practical yoga instruction; not a pañcalakṣaṇa narrative unit.

Avoiding pressure and tension suggests conserving and smoothing prāṇa flow; relaxation of the jaw and slight head lift are classic aids to steadier breath and attention.
