इष्टापूर्तविनाशाय तद्राज्ञश्चौरधर्मिणः ।

यद्यन्यैः पालयते लोकस्तद्वृत्तयन्तरसंश्रितैः ॥

Transliteration

iṣṭāpūrta-vināśāya tad rājñaś caura-dharmiṇaḥ /

yad yanyaiḥ pālyate lokas tad vṛttay antarasaṃśritaiḥ

Translation

దొంగలా ప్రవర్తించే రాజు తన ఇష్ట-పూర్త పుణ్యాలను నాశనం చేసుకుంటాడు; ఎందుకంటే ప్రజలు ఇతరులచే—ఇతర జీవికావంతులచే—రక్షింపబడితే, రాజు తీసుకోవడం దొంగతనమే అవుతుంది.
