त्यक्त्वा देवान् स्त्रियं तां तु हर्तुकामा हतौजसः ।
तेन पापेन मुह्यन्तः संशक्तास्ते ततोऽब्रुवन् ॥
tyaktvā devān striyaṃ tāṃ tu hartukāmā hataujasaḥ | tena pāpena muhyantaḥ saṃśaktās te tato 'bruvan ||
దేవులతో యుద్ధాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టి, వీర్యం క్షీణించిన వారు ఆ స్త్రీని పట్టుకోవాలని కోరారు; ఆ పాపమే వారిని మోహింపజేసి, వారు కూడి తరువాత ఇలా పలికారు।
