Dhanaṃjaya’s Reassurance and the Opening Engagement
सर्वदेवनिकायाश्न सिद्धाश्ष परमर्षय: । अर्जुनस्य कुरूणां च द्रष्ठ युद्धमुपागता:,ये सभी देवसमुदाय, सिद्ध और महर्षिगण अर्जुन तथा कौरवदलका युद्ध देखनेके लिये जुटे थे
sarvadevanikāyāś ca siddhāś ca paramarṣayaḥ | arjunasya kurūṇāṃ ca draṣṭuṃ yuddham upāgatāḥ ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— సమస్త దేవగణములు, సిద్ధులు, పరమర్షులు—అర్జునుడు మరియు కురువుల యుద్ధాన్ని దర్శించుటకు అక్కడికి చేరిరి।
