Chapter 55
लोहितेन समायुक्तै: पांसुभि: पवनोद्धृतै: । बभूवुर्लोहितास्तत्र भृूशमादित्यरश्मय:,वायुद्वारा उड़ायी हुई रक्तसे सनी धूलके संसर्गसे आकाशमें सूर्यकी किरणें भी अधिक लाल हो गयीं
lohitenā samāyuktaiḥ pāṃsubhiḥ pavanoddhṛtaiḥ | babhūvur lohitās tatra bhṛśam ādityaraśmayaḥ ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—గాలిచేత పైకి లేచిన రక్తమిశ్రిత ధూళి తాకిడితో అక్కడ సూర్యకిరణాలే అత్యంత ఎర్రగా కనిపించెను. యుద్ధభూమి ధూళి-పొగతో నిండిపోయి, రక్తరంజిత కణాల వల్ల సూర్యాంశములు సైతం రక్తవర్ణంగా తోచెను.
