Chapter 55
कुरुसेनाशरीराणि पार्थेनैवाहतान्यपि । सेदु: पार्थहतानीव पार्थकर्मानुशासनात्
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
kurusenāśarīrāṇi pārthenaivāhatāny api |
seduḥ pārthahatānīva pārthakarmānuśāsanāt ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—కురు యోధుల శరీరాలు, కేవలం పార్థుడు (అర్జునుడు) తాకినవే అయినా, చీల్చి చిద్రమైపోయాయి. అవి పార్థుని బాణాలతో హతమైనవాటిలా నేలపై పడి ఉండెను; యుద్ధంలో పార్థుని కర్మబలం, నైపుణ్యం అంతటి మహత్తరమైనది గనుక దానికి సరైన ఉపమానం పార్థుడే.
