अध्याय ५०: उत्तरेण सह अर्जुनस्य रथप्रयाणे ध्वजचिह्नैः कौरवसेनानिर्देशः

देवं दैवेन युध्येत मानुषेण च मानुषम्‌ । अस्त्रं हास्त्रेण यो हन्यात्‌ कोर््डर्जुनेन सम: पुमान्‌,जो देवताओंके साथ देवोचित ढंगसे और मनुष्योंके साथ मानवोचित प्रणालीसे युद्ध करते हैं और प्रत्येक अस्त्रको उसके विरोधी अस्त्रद्वारा नष्ट कर सकते हैं, उन कुन्तीनन्दन धनंजयकी समानता करनेवाला कौन पुरुष है?

devaṃ daivena yudhyeta mānuṣeṇa ca mānuṣam | astraṃ hāstreṇa yo hanyāt ko 'rjunena samaḥ pumān ||

దేవునితో దేవోచిత విధానంతో, మనిషితో మానవోచిత విధానంతో యుద్ధం చేయాలి. ప్రతి అస్త్రాన్ని దానికి ప్రతిఅస్త్రంతో ఎదుర్కొని నాశనం చేయగల అర్జునునితో సమానుడు ఏ పురుషుడు?
