महावीर्य॑ महादिव्यमेतत् तद् धनुरुत्तमम् एतत् पार्थमनुप्राप्तं वरुणाच्चारुदर्शनम्,यह सर्वोत्तम धनुष देखनेमें बड़ा ही मनोहर है। इसके द्वारा महान् पराक्रम प्रकट होता है। अर्जुनको यह महादिव्य धनुष साक्षात् वरुणदेवसे प्राप्त हुआ था
mahāvīrya mahādivyam etat tad dhanur uttamam etat pārtham anuprāptaṃ varuṇāc cāru-darśanam
