Educational Q&A

The verse highlights royal duty and the ethics of protection and restitution: cattle symbolize prosperity and social stability, so recovering them becomes a matter of honor and governance, framed through confidence in rightful victory.

A speaker declares an intention to confront the assembled Kauravas, defeat them, reclaim the stolen/contested cattle, and return quickly to his city—setting the tone for an imminent clash centered on a cattle-recovery expedition.
