शमीवृक्षस्थायुधप्रकाशनम् / Revelation and Identification of the Weapons on the Śamī Tree
उत्तर उवाच नोत्सहे कुरुभियोंद्धुं रोमहर्ष हि पश्य मे । बहुप्रवीरमत्युग्रं देवेरपि दुरासदम्,उत्तर बोला--बृहन्नले! मुझमें कौरवोंके साथ युद्ध करनेका साहस नहीं है; क्योंकि देखो, भयके कारण मेरे रोएँ खड़े हो गये हैं। इस सेनाके भीतर बहुतेरे बड़े-बड़े वीर हैं। यह बड़ी भयानक जान पड़ती है। इसे परास्त करना तो देवताओंके लिये भी अत्यन्त कठिन है
uttara uvāca
notsahe kurubhiyoddhuṁ romaharṣa hi paśya me |
bahupravīram atyugraṁ devair api durāsadam ||
ఉత్తరుడు చెప్పెను—కౌరవులతో యుద్ధం చేయుటకు నాకు ధైర్యం లేదు. చూడు, భయంతో నా రోమాలు నిక్కబొడుచుకున్నాయి. వారి సేనలో అనేక మహావీరులు ఉన్నారు; అది అత్యంత ఉగ్రంగా, భయంకరంగా కనిపిస్తోంది. దానిని జయించడం దేవతలకైనా కష్టం.
