Transliteration

adṛśyan tatra gātrāṇi śaraiś chinnāni bhāgaśaḥ

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—అక్కడ అతడు బాణాలతో కోసి భాగాలుగా విడిపోయిన అవయవాలను చూచెను; ఆ భయంకర దృశ్యం యుద్ధకర్మ యొక్క కఠిన వాస్తవాన్ని, దాని నైతిక భారాన్ని స్పష్టంగా తెలిపెను।
