कृपवाक्यं तथा नीत्युपदेशः

प्रियवादी सदा दान्तो भव्य: सत्यपरो जन: । हृष्ट: पुष्ट: शुचिर्दक्षो यत्र राजा युधिष्ठिर:,“जहाँ राजा युधिष्ठिर होंगे, वहाँके मनुष्य सदा प्रिय वचन बोलनेवाले, जितेन्द्रिय, कल्याणभागी, सत्यपरायण, हृष्ट-पुष्ट, पवित्र और कार्यकुशल होंगे
priyavādī sadā dānto bhavyaḥ satyaparo janaḥ | hṛṣṭaḥ puṣṭaḥ śucir dakṣo yatra rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—రాజా యుధిష్ఠిరుడు ఉన్న చోట ప్రజలు ఎల్లప్పుడూ మధురంగా మాట్లాడేవారు, ఇంద్రియనిగ్రహం కలవారు, కల్యాణభాగ్యులు, సత్యనిష్ఠులు; హర్షితులు, పుష్టులు, శుచులు, కార్యదక్షులు అవుతారు।
