प्रगृह् तरसा दोर्भ्या कण्ठं तस्य वृकोदर: । अपीडयत कृष्णायास्तदा कोपोपशान्तये

Transliteration

pragṛhya tarasā dorbhyā kaṇṭhaṃ tasya vṛkodaraḥ | apīḍayat kṛṣṇāyās tadā kopopaśāntaye ||

Translation

అప్పుడు వృకోదరుడు వేగంగా రెండు భుజాలతో అతని గొంతును పట్టి బిగించి నొక్కాడు; అది కృష్ణా (ద్రౌపది) యొక్క ఉప్పొంగుతున్న కోపాన్ని శమింపజేయుటకే।
