यस्मिन्‌ जाते महाभागे कुन्त्या: शोको व्यनश्यत । स शोचयति मामद्य भीमसेन तवानुज:,भीमसेन! जिसके रथकी घर्घराहटसे पर्वत, वन और चराचर प्राणियोंसहित सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वी काँप उठती थी, जिस महान्‌ भाग्यशाली पुत्रके उत्पन्न होनेपर माता कुन्तीका सारा शोक नष्ट हो गया था, वही तुम्हारा छोटा भाई अर्जुन आज अपनी दुरवस्थाके कारण मुझे शोकमग्न किये देता है

yasmin jāte mahābhāge kuntyāḥ śoko vyanaśyata | sa śocayati mām adya bhīmasena tavānujaḥ ||

భీమసేన! ఎవరి మహాభాగ్య జన్మతో కుంతీ శోకం నశించిందో, ఆ నీ తమ్ముడు నేడు తన విపత్తు వల్ల నన్ను శోకాకులుణ్ణి చేస్తున్నాడు।
