एतदीदृशकं तात रामेणाक्लिष्टकर्मणा । प्राप्तमासीन्महाराज विष्णुमासाद्य वै पुरा,तात महाराज युधिष्छिर! इस प्रकार पूर्वकालमें अनायास ही महान्‌ कर्म करनेवाले परशुराम विष्णुस्वरूप श्रीरामचन्द्रजीसे भिड़कर इस दशाको प्राप्त हुए थे

etad īdṛśakaṃ tāta rāmeṇākliṣṭa-karmaṇā | prāptam āsīn mahārāja viṣṇum āsādya vai purā ||

తాతా, మహారాజా! పూర్వకాలంలో కష్టరహితంగా మహత్కార్యాలు సాధించే పరశురాముడు విష్ణుస్వరూపుడైన రాముని ఎదుర్కొని ఇలాంటి స్థితిని పొందాడు.
