सहसंरं तेअस्तु पुत्राणां शतं वा दशसम्मितम् । दश वा शततुल्या: स्युरेको वापि सहस्रजित्,क्या तुम्हारे गर्भसे एक हजार या एक सौ पुत्र उत्पन्न हों, जो दसके ही समान हों? अथवा दस ही पुत्र हों, जो सौ पुत्रोंकी समानता करनेवाले हों? अथवा एक ही पुत्र हो, जो हजारोंको जीतनेवाला हो?
sahasraṁ te 'stu putrāṇāṁ śataṁ vā daśa-sammitam | daśa vā śata-tulyāḥ syur eko vāpi sahasra-jit ||
నీకు వెయ్యి మంది కుమారులు కలుగుగాక; లేదా పది మందికి సమానమైన వంద మంది కుమారులు; లేదా వంద మందికి సమానమైన పది మంది కుమారులు; లేక వెయ్యిమందిని జయించగల ఒకే కుమారుడు అయినా కలుగుగాక.
