अध्याय ९० — लोमशोपदेशः तथा तीर्थयात्रानिश्चयः

यः स भूतं भविष्यच्च भवच्च भरतर्षभ | नारायण: प्रभुर्विष्णु: शाश्वत: पुरुषोत्तम:,भरतश्रेष्ठ! भूत, भविष्य और वर्तमान जिनका स्वरूप है, जो सर्वशक्तिमान्‌, सर्वव्यापी, सनातन एवं पुरुषोत्तम नारायण हैं उन अत्यन्त यशस्वी श्रीहरिकी पुण्यमयी विशालापुरी बदरीवनके निकट है। वह नर-नारायणका आश्रम कहा गया है, वह पुण्यप्रद बदरिका श्रम तीनों लोकोंमें विख्यात है

yaḥ sa bhūtaṃ bhaviṣyac ca bhavac ca bharatarṣabha | nārāyaṇaḥ prabhur viṣṇuḥ śāśvataḥ puruṣottamaḥ |

ధౌమ్యుడు పలికెను—భరతశ్రేష్ఠా! భూతము, భవిష్యత్తు, వర్తమానము—ఈ మూడు కాలముల స్వరూపుడైన శాశ్వత ప్రభువు విష్ణువు, పురుషోత్తముడు నారాయణుడు. బదరివన సమీపమున ఆయన పుణ్యమయమైన విశాలపురి ఉంది; ఆ స్థలము ‘నర-నారాయణ ఆశ్రమము’ అని పిలువబడుతుంది—త్రిలోకములలో ప్రసిద్ధమైన, పుణ్యప్రదమైన బదరికాశ్రమము.
