कस्त्वं तातेह सम्प्राप्तो धनुष्मान्‌ कवची शरी । निबद्धासितलत्राण: क्षत्रधर्ममनुव्रत:

kaḥ tvaṃ tāteha samprāpto dhanuṣmān kavacī śarī | nibaddhāsitalatrāṇaḥ kṣatradharmam anuvrataḥ ||

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— తాతా! నీవెవరు? ఇక్కడికి ధనుస్సుతో, కవచధారిగా, బాణాలతో, ఖడ్గమును రక్షణోపకరణములను బిగించి, క్షత్రధర్మానుసారిగా వచ్చినవాడివి. ఇక్కడ ఆయుధాల అవసరం లేదు. ఇది క్రోధమును హర్షమును జయించి తపస్సులో నిమగ్నమైన శాంత బ్రాహ్మణ తపస్వుల నివాసము.
