अध्याय ३० — क्रोधदोषाः क्षमाप्रशंसा च

Defects of Anger and the Praise of Forbearance

न हि तेडध्यगमज्जातु तदानीं नाद्य भारत | धर्मात्‌ प्रियतरं किंचिदपि चेज्जीवितादिह,भरतकुलतिलक! आपके भाइयोंने न तो पहले कभी और न आज ही धर्मसे अधिक प्रिय दूसरी किसी वस्तुको समझा है। अपितु धर्मको जीवनसे भी बढ़कर माना है

na hi te 'dhyagamaj jātu tadānīṃ nādya bhārata | dharmāt priyataram kiṃcid api cej jīvitād iha ||

హే భారతకులతిలకా! నీ సోదరులు అప్పుడూ కాదు, ఈ రోజూ కాదు—ధర్మం కన్నా ప్రియమైనదిగా మరేదీ ఎప్పుడూ భావించలేదు; ఈ లోకంలో వారు ధర్మాన్ని ప్రాణాలకన్నా గొప్పదిగా ఎంచుకున్నారు.
