व्यसनं भवतश्चैदं संक्षेपाद्‌ वै निवेदितम्‌ । “सम्पाति जब इस तरहकी बातें कर रहा था, उस समय हमलोगोंने बताया कि जटायु मारे गये। साथ ही हमने संक्षेपसे आपके ऊपर आये हुए इस संकटका समाचार भी निवेदन कर दिया

Transliteration

vyasanaṃ bhavataś caidaṃ saṃkṣepād vai niveditam |

Translation

మార్కండేయుడు అన్నాడు—“మీపై వచ్చిన ఈ విపత్తును మేము సంక్షేపంగా నివేదించాము. సంపాతి ఈ విధంగా మాట్లాడుతుండగా, జటాయువు హతుడయ్యాడని అతనికి తెలియజేశాము; అలాగే మీకు వచ్చిన సంకటవార్తను కూడా సంక్షేపంగా చెప్పాము.”
