Indrajit and Lakṣmaṇa: Escalation through Concealment
हतप्रवीरा रिपवो भूयिष्ठं विद्रुता दिश: । गृहीत्वा द्रौपदी राजन् निवर्ततु भवानितः,“राजन! शत्रुओंके प्रमुख वीर मारे जा चुके हैं और बहुत-से सैनिक सब दिशाओंमें भाग गये हैं। अब आप द्रौपदीको साथ लेकर यहाँसे आश्रमको लौटिये
Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca | hatapravīrā ripavo bhūyiṣṭhaṃ vidrutā diśaḥ | gṛhītvā draupadīṃ rājan nivartatu bhavān itaḥ ||
రాజా! శత్రువుల ప్రధాన వీరులు హతులయ్యారు; వారి సైన్యం ఎక్కువగా అన్ని దిశలకూ పారిపోయింది. కాబట్టి ద్రౌపదిని వెంట తీసుకొని ఇక్కడి నుండి ఆశ్రమానికి తిరిగి వెళ్లుము.
