ध्यायत: कि न मन्युस्ते प्राप्ते काले विवर्धते । भीमसेनं हि कर्माणि स्वयं कुर्वाणमच्युतम्‌

Transliteration

dhyāyataḥ kiṁ na manyus te prāpte kāle vivardhate | bhīmasenaṁ hi karmāṇi svayaṁ kurvāṇam acyutam ||

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు అన్నాడు—నిర్ణాయక కాలం వచ్చేసినప్పుడు, మీరు ధ్యానిస్తూ ఉన్నా మీ కోపం ఎందుకు పెరగదు—భీమసేనుడు తన చేతులతోనే పనులు చేస్తున్నాడని, అచ్యుతుడు (కృష్ణుడు) కూడా స్వయంగా కార్యం చేపడుతున్నాడని చూస్తూనే?
