वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्युक्तास्ते द्विजा: सर्वे मुनिना गुरुणा तदा । पाण्डवेभ्यो भृशं भीता दुद्गुवुस्ते दिशो दश,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! गुरु दुर्वासा मुनिके ऐसा कहनेपर वे सब ब्राह्मण पाण्डवोंसे अत्यन्त भयभीत हो दसों दिशाओंमें भाग गये

vaiśampāyana uvāca | ity uktās te dvijāḥ sarve muninā guruṇā tadā | pāṇḍavebhyo bhṛśaṃ bhītā dudruvus te diśo daśa ||

వైశంపాయనుడు అన్నాడు— గురుముని ఇలా చెప్పగానే, ఆ బ్రాహ్మణులందరూ పాండవుల పట్ల తీవ్రమైన భయంతో వెంటనే పది దిశలకూ చెదిరి పారిపోయారు.
