रामस्य पम्पातीरगमनम्, सुग्रीवसख्यं, वालिवधः, सीतारक्षणवृत्तान्तश्च

दुःशासनाद हं पूर्व सभायां मोचिता यथा । तथैव संकटादस्मान्मामुद्धर्तुमिहाहसि,'भगवन्‌! पहले कौरव-सभामें दुःशासनके हाथसे जैसे तुमने मुझे बचाया था, उसी प्रकार इस वर्तमान संकटसे भी मेरा उद्धार करो”

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

duḥśāsanād ahaṃ pūrvaṃ sabhāyāṃ mocitā yathā |

tathaiva saṅkaṭād asmān mām uddhartum ihārhasi ||

భగవాన్! పూర్వం సభలో దుఃశాసనుని చేతుల నుండి నన్ను ఎలా విడిపించితివో, అలాగే ఈ ప్రస్తుత సంకటము నుండి కూడా నన్ను—మమ్మల్ని—ఉద్ధరించవలసినది.
