Transliteration
tapo niḥśreyasaṃ jantostasya mūlaṃ śamo damaḥ
Translation
వేటగాడు అన్నాడు—తపస్సు జీవికి పరమ శ్రేయస్సును కలిగిస్తుంది; ఆ తపస్సుకు మూలం శమం (మనోనిగ్రహం) మరియు దమం (ఇంద్రియసంయమం)ే।
