अविशेषेण तस्याहं कुर्या धर्म द्विजोत्तम | शुश्रूषाया: फल पश्य पत्युब्राह्मिण यादृशम्,द्विजश्रेष्ठ! मैं साधारणरूपसे ही पतिसेवारूप धर्मका पालन करती हूँ। ब्राह्मणदेवता! इस पतिसेवाका जैसा फल है, उसे प्रत्यक्ष देख लो
aviśeṣeṇa tasyāhaṃ kuryā dharmaṃ dvijottama | śuśrūṣāyāḥ phalaṃ paśya patyur brāhmiṇyā yādṛśam ||
బ్రాహ్మణి పలికింది—ఓ ద్విజోత్తమా! నేను ఎలాంటి ప్రత్యేక ఆడంబరం లేకుండా భర్తసేవనే ధర్మంగా ఆచరిస్తాను. ఓ బ్రాహ్మణదేవా! ఈ పతి-శుశ్రూషకు కలిగే ఫలితాన్ని ప్రత్యక్షంగా చూడు.
