पाद्यमाचमनीयं वै ददौ भर्तुस्तथा55सनम्‌ | प्रह्मा पर्यचरच्चापि भर्तारमसितेक्षणा

Transliteration

pādyam ācamanīyaṃ vai dadau bhartus tathāsanam | brahmā paryacarac cāpi bhartāram asitekṣaṇā ||

Translation

మార్కండేయుడు పలికెను—ఆమె భర్తకు పాద్యమును, ఆచమనార్థమై జలమును సమర్పించి, కూర్చునుటకు ఆసనమును కూడా ఇచ్చెను. శ్యామనయనయైన ఆ పతివ్రత ధర్మానుగుణమైన భక్తిసేవతో భర్తను పరిచర్య చేసెను.
