हिरण्यपुरवर्णन–रौद्रास्त्रप्रयोगः
Hiraṇyapura Described and the Deployment of the Raudra Weapon
ते वै मामनुरूपाभिर्मधुराभिर्जयैषिण: । अस्तुवन् मुनयो वाम्भियथ्थेन्द्रे तारकामये,उस समय बहुत-से देवर्षि तथा अन्य महर्षि एवं ब्रह्मर्षि और सिद्धगण उस महायुद्धमें (देखनेके लिये) आये। वे सब-के-सब मेरी विजय चाहते थे। अतः उन्होंने जैसे तारकामय संग्रामके अवसरपर इन्द्रकी स्तुति की थी, उसी प्रकार अनुकूल एवं मधुर वचनोंद्वारा मेरा भी स्तवन किया
te vai mām anurūpābhir madhurābhir jayaiṣiṇaḥ | astuvan munayo vāmbhi yathendre tārakāmaye ||
అర్జునుడు అన్నాడు—నా విజయాన్ని కోరిన మునులు నాకు తగినట్లుగా మధురమైన, అనుకూలమైన వాక్యాలతో నన్ను స్తుతించారు—తారకామయ యుద్ధంలో ఇంద్రుని స్తుతించినట్లే. ఆ మహాయుద్ధాన్ని చూడటానికి అనేక దేవర్షులు, మహర్షులు, బ్రహ్మర్షులు, సిద్ధులు వచ్చారు; అందరూ నా జయాన్ని కోరినందున ప్రశంసావాక్యాలతో నన్ను అభినందించారు.
