अयं च शंखप्रवरो येन जेतासि दानवान् | अनेन विजिता लोका: शक्रेणापि महात्मना,“यह श्रेष्ठ शंख है, जिसे बजानेसे तुम्हें दानवोंपर विजय प्राप्त हो सकती है। महामना इन्द्रने भी इसके द्वारा सम्पूर्ण लोकोंपर विजय पायी है'
ayaṃ ca śaṅkhapravaro yena jetāsi dānavān | anena vijitā lokāḥ śakreṇāpi mahātmanā |
ఇదిగో ఈ శ్రేష్ఠ శంఖం—దీనిని ఊదితే నీవు దానవులను జయిస్తావు. ఇదే శంఖంతో మహాత్ముడైన శక్రుడు (ఇంద్రుడు) కూడా లోకాలను జయించినట్లు చెప్పబడుతుంది.
