वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic kingship: a righteous ruler does not rush past the results of conflict. By first observing the place and the fallen foes and then speaking thoughtfully to his brother, Yudhiṣṭhira models reflective restraint and moral accountability even amid necessary force.
After arriving at (or beholding) Kubera’s dwelling and seeing the rākṣasas who have been brought down, King Yudhiṣṭhira turns to Bhīma, seated nearby, and begins to address him—setting up the next instruction or dialogue in the episode.
