विरराम महातेजास्तमेवार्थ विचिन्तयन् । वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! धर्मात्मा भाई महातेजस्वी कुन्तीपुत्र युधिष्ठिर अर्थतत्त्वके विभागको ठीक-ठीक जाननेवाले थे। वे धर्मसे कभी च्युत न होनेवाले अपने भाई भीमसेनसे उपर्युक्त बातें कहकर चुप हो गये और उसी विषयपर बार-बार विचार करने लगे

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—జనమేజయా! మహాతేజస్సు గల యుధిష్ఠిరుడు అదే విషయాన్ని మనసులో తలచుకుంటూ మౌనమయ్యాడు. భీమసేనునికి ఆ మాటలు చెప్పి, అర్థతత్త్వ విభాగాన్ని యథార్థంగా తెలిసిన ధర్మనిష్ఠుడైన కుంతీపుత్రుడు, ధర్మం నుండి చలించక, మళ్లీ మళ్లీ అదే విషయాన్ని ఆలోచించసాగాడు.
