एवमुक्क्त्वा ततः कृष्णामुवाह स घटोत्कच: । पाण्डूनां मध्यगो वीर: पाण्डवानपि चापरे,ऐसा कहकर वीर घटोत्कच तो द्रौपदीको लेकर पाण्डवोंके बीचमें चलने लगा और दूसरे राक्षस पाण्डवोंको भी (अपने-अपने कंधेपर बिठाकर) ले चले
evam uktvā tataḥ kṛṣṇām uvāha sa ghaṭotkacaḥ | pāṇḍūnāṁ madhyago vīraḥ pāṇḍavān api cāpare ||
అలా చెప్పి వీరుడు ఘటోత్కచుడు కృష్ణా (ద్రౌపది)ను ఎత్తుకొని, పాండవుల మధ్యగా సాగుతూ ముందుకు నడిచాడు. ఇతర రాక్షసులు కూడా పాండవులను తమ తమ భుజాలపై ఎక్కించుకొని వెంట తీసుకెళ్లారు.
