The Saugaṇdhika Lotus and Bhīma’s Approach to Hanūmān

Educational Q&A

Strength should be guided by compassion and restraint: even when one has the power to carry someone swiftly, one must act gently so that no harm or discomfort is caused.

Bhīma instructs a companion to lift a woman onto the shoulder and transport her through the air, but to do so slowly and carefully, remaining among their group, ensuring she suffers no pain.
