एतत्‌ सर्व यथावृत्तं श्रोतुमिच्छामि तत्त्वतः । कर्मभिददेवकल्पानां कीर्त्यमानैर्भृशं रमे,ये सब बातें मैं यथार्थरूपसे ठीक-ठीक सुनना चाहता हूँ। उन देवोपम मुनियोंके चरित्रोंका वर्णन सुनकर मेरे मनको बड़ा सुख मिलता है

Transliteration

etat sarvaṁ yathāvṛttaṁ śrotum icchāmi tattvataḥ | karmabhir devakalpānāṁ kīrtyamānaiḥ bhṛśaṁ rame ||

Translation

ఇది అంతా యథావృత్తంగా, తత్త్వంతో కూడి నేను వినాలని కోరుతున్నాను. దేవసమానమైన మునుల కర్మకథలు వర్ణించబడితే వాటిని విని నాకు అపార ఆనందం కలుగుతుంది.
