सो>हमेत्य कुरुश्रेष्ठ द्वारकां पाण्डुनन्दन । अश्रौषं त्वां व्यसनिनं युयुधानादू यथातथम्‌,कुरुप्रवर पाण्डुनन्दन! जब मैं द्वारकामें आया, तब सात्यकिसे आपके संकटमें पड़नेका यथावत्‌ समाचार सुना

so ’ham ity a kuruśreṣṭha dvārakāṃ pāṇḍunandana | aśrauṣaṃ tvāṃ vyasaninaṃ yuyudhānād yathātatham ||

కురుప్రవరా, పాండునందనా! ఆపై నేను ద్వారకకు వచ్చి, యుయుధానుడు (సాత్యకి) ద్వారా నీ దుఃఖస్థితి గురించి యథాతథంగా విన్నాను।
