युधिछिर उवाच भवाननुगतो रामं॑ जामदग्न्यं महाबलम्‌ । प्रत्यक्षदर्शी सर्वस्य पूर्ववृत्तस्य कर्मण:,युधिष्ठिरने पूछा--मुने! आप महाबली परशुरामजीके अनुगत भक्त हैं। उन्होंने पहले जो-जो कार्य किये हैं, उन सबको आपने प्रत्यक्ष देखा है

Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: bhavān anugato rāmaṃ jāmadagnyaṃ mahābalam | pratyakṣadarśī sarvasya pūrvavṛttasya karmaṇaḥ ||

Translation

యుధిష్ఠిరుడు అన్నాడు— మునివర్యా! మీరు మహాబలుడైన జమదగ్న్య రాముడు (పరశురాముడు)కు అనుగత భక్తుడు. ఆయన పూర్వకాలంలో చేసిన సమస్త కర్మలను మీరు ప్రత్యక్షంగా చూశారు.
