Agastya’s Injunction
समेत्य समहेन्द्रा श्ष भयान्मन्त्र प्रचक्रिरे शरण्यं शरणं देव॑ नारायणमजं विभुम्
sametya saha-indrāś ca bhayān mantraṁ pracakrire | śaraṇyaṁ śaraṇaṁ devaṁ nārāyaṇam ajaṁ vibhum ||
అప్పుడు ఇంద్రుడుతో కూడిన దేవతలందరూ భయంతో కలసి సమావేశమై మంత్రణ చేశారు. శరణ్యుడైన దేవుడు—అజుడు, విభువు నారాయణుడు—ఆయననే పరమ శరణంగా ఆశ్రయించారు.
