विदुरस्य कृष्णं प्रति शमोपदेशः

यस्तान्‌ दवेष्टि स मां द्वेष्टि यस्ताननु स मामनु । ऐकात्म्यं मां गतं विद्धि पाण्डवैर्धर्मचारिभि:,'जो पाण्डवोंसे द्वेष करता है, वह मुझसे भी द्वेष करता है और जो उनके अनुकूल है, वह मेरे भी अनुकूल है। तुम मुझे धर्मात्मा पाण्डवोंके साथ एकरूप हुआ ही समझो

vaiśampāyana uvāca | yastān dveṣṭi sa māṃ dveṣṭi yastān anu sa mām anu | aikātmyaṃ māṃ gataṃ viddhi pāṇḍavair dharmacāribhiḥ ||

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—వారిని ద్వేషించేవాడు నన్నూ ద్వేషించినవాడే; వారిని అనుసరించేవాడు నన్నూ అనుసరించినవాడే. ధర్మమార్గంలో నడిచే పాండవులతో నేను ఏకాత్ముడనై ఉన్నానని తెలుసుకో।
