पितासि राजन पुत्रास्ते वृद्धस्त्वं शिशव: परे | वर्तस्व पितृवत् तेषु वर्तन्ते ते हि पुत्रवत्
pitāsi rājan putrās te vṛddhas tvaṁ śiśavaḥ pare | vartasva pitṛvat teṣu vartante te hi putravat ||
మహారాజా! మీరు తండ్రి, పాండవులు మీ కుమారులు. మీరు వృద్ధులు, వారు శిశువులవలె. కనుక వారి పట్ల తండ్రివలె స్నేహంతో, రక్షణతో ప్రవర్తించుము; ఎందుకంటే వారు కూడా మీ పట్ల కుమారులవలె భక్తి-విశ్వాసాలతోనే ఉంటారు.
