ततो दुर्योधन: श्रुत्वा महात्मानं महारथम्‌ । उपायान्तमभिद्रुत्य स्वयमानर्च भारत

Transliteration

tato duryodhanaḥ śrutvā mahātmānaṃ mahāratham | upayāntam abhidrutya svayam ānarca bhārata ||

Translation

అప్పుడు, ఓ భారతనందనా! మహాత్ముడైన మహారథి రాజు శల్యుడు వస్తున్నాడని విని దుర్యోధనుడు తానే పరుగెత్తి ఎదురుగా వెళ్లి, మార్గమధ్యంలోనే అతనికి సేవా-సత్కారాలు ప్రారంభించాడు.
