योधाश्व सर्वे कृतनिश्चयास्ते भव्न्तु हस्त्यश्वरथेषु यत्ता: । सांग्रामिकं ते यदुपार्जनीयं सर्व समग्र कुरु तन्नरेन्द्र
yodhāś ca sarve kṛtaniścayās te bhavantu hastyaśvaratheṣu yattāḥ | sāṅgrāmikaṃ te yad upārjanīyaṃ sarvaṃ samagraṃ kuru tan narendra ||
యుధిష్ఠిరుడు అన్నాడు—“ఓ నరేంద్రా! నీ యోధులందరూ దృఢనిశ్చయంతో ఏనుగులు, గుర్రాలు, రథాలపై ఎక్కి పూర్తిగా సిద్ధంగా ఉండాలి. యుద్ధానికి సమకూర్చవలసిన వనరులు, సామగ్రి—అన్నిటినీ సంపూర్ణంగా సమకూర్చు. మనుష్యలోకాన్ని సంహరించే అత్యంత భయంకరమైన మృతి వారికి సమీపించకపోతే ఇలాంటి పరిస్థితి కనబడేది కాదు. కాబట్టి ఆయుధాలు, యంత్రాలు, కవచాలు, రథాలు, ఏనుగులు, గుర్రాలతో సుసజ్జితమై నీ సేన ఎల్లప్పుడూ యుద్ధానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉండుగాక.”
