ईषत् कार्यो वधस्तस्य यस्य चारित्रमीदृशम् | प्रस्कन्देन प्रतिस्तब्धश्छिन्नमूल इव द्रुम:
īṣat kāryo vadhastasya yasya cāritram īdṛśam | praskandena pratistabdhaś chinnamūla iva drumaḥ |
యుధిష్ఠిరుడు అన్నాడు—ఇలాంటి దురాచారుడిని సంహరించడం నిజంగా సులభమే. వేర్లు కోసి, కేవలం దిమ్మె ఆధారంతో నిలిచిన చెట్టు త్వరలో కూలినట్లే, దుర్యోధనుడి పతనమూ ఇక ఆలస్యం కాదు।
