Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 71 — Kṣatra-dharma Counsel, Public Legitimacy, and Mobilization

धर्मनित्य: प्रशान्तात्मा कार्ययोगवह: सदा । नाधर्मे कुरुते बुद्धि न च पापे प्रवर्तते,सदा धर्ममें तत्पर रहनेवाला पुरुष शान्तचित्त होकर नित्य-निरन्तर सत्कर्मोमें लगा रहता है। वह कभी अधर्ममें मन नहीं लगाता और न पापमें ही प्रवृत्त होता है

dharmanityaḥ praśāntātmā kāryayogavahaḥ sadā | nādharme kurute buddhiṁ na ca pāpe pravartate ||

ఎవడు నిత్యం ధర్మనిష్ఠుడై, అంతఃకరణం శాంతంగా ఉండి, సద్కార్యయోగాన్ని ఎల్లప్పుడూ మోస్తాడో, వాడు నిరంతరం శుభకర్మలలో నిమగ్నుడై ఉంటాడు. అతడు అధర్మంలో బుద్ధిని పెట్టడు; పాపంలోనూ ప్రవృత్తి చెందడు.
