भरतनन्दन! जो भूपाल मेरा प्रिय करना चाहते हैं, वे सब उन पाण्डवोंको आगे बढ़नेसे उसी प्रकार रोक देंगे, जैसे फन्देसे हिरनके बच्चोंको रोका जाता है ।। महता रथवंशेन शरजालैश्व मामकै: । अभिद्रुता भविष्यन्ति पञ्चाला: पाण्डवैः सह,मेरे पक्षकी विशाल रथसेना तथा मेरे सैनिकोंके बाणसमूहोंसे आहत होकर पांचाल और पाण्डव भाग खड़े होंगे
bharatanandana! ye bhūpālā mama priyaṁ kartum icchanti, te sarve tān pāṇḍavān agre gantuṁ tathā rotsyianti yathā phandena hariṇa-śiśūn rotsyante. mahatā rathavaṁśena śarajālaiś ca māmakaiḥ abhidrūtā bhaviṣyanti pañcālāḥ pāṇḍavaiḥ saha.
ఓ భరతనందనా! నా ప్రీతిని కోరే భూపాలులందరూ పాండవుల పురోగతిని, ఉచ్చుతో జింక పిల్లలను ఆపినట్లు, అడ్డుకుంటారు. నా పక్షంలోని మహా రథసేన మరియు నా వీరుల బాణజాలం తాకి, పాంచాలులు పాండవులతో కలిసి పారిపోతారు.
